Standards/Divisions
Know where you are now and compete at your current level of fitness. The following are the divisions and the requirements to compete at each level. Please note that in the upcoming weeks a video submission may be required in order to compete at the Rx division.
RTG (Road to the Games) Men/Women Deadlift 400/275#, Clean 265/175#, Snatch 185/135#. OH Squat over 225/135#. Efficient at all gymnastic and highly skilled movements; i.e, rope climbs, muscle ups, hand stand pushups and walks, double unders, pistols, etc.
Rx Men/Women Deadlift 315/225#, Clean 165/110#, Snatch 135/95#. OH Squat 135/95#. Efficient at some gymnastic and skilled movements; i.e, rope climbs, pullups, and double unders.
Masters Men/Women (AGE 45 +) The requirements are the same as that of the Rx Division; maybe a bit lighter.
Teams Mixed 2 Men 2 and Women The requirements are the same as that of the Rx Division
**** THESE DIVISIONS SEREVE AS A WAY TO BENCHMARK WHAT LEVEL YOU SHOULD COMPETE AT. THIS DOES NOT MEAN THAT WE ARE GOING TO DO REPS OF DEADLIFTS AT 400#…NOR DOES IT MEAN THAT WE WILL NOT. COMPETE AT THE LEVEL THAT YOU ARE CURRENTLY AT, NOT THE LEVEL THAT YOU WANT TO BE AT. THIS MAKES FOR A BETTER COMPETITION. THE “RTG” LEVEL IS FOR ATHLETES WHO HAVE PARTICIPATED IN THE CROSSFIT GAMES AT THE REGIONAL OR FINALS LEVEL, OR FOR THOSE THAT ARE VERY CERTAIN THAT TEHY WILL GET THERE THIS YEAR.
